2.3 "Event" means any event for which a User can view information, be transferred to Other platforms to purchase Tickets or a Ticket, or for which a Organiser can promote, market and advertise their Event, as part of the Service;
2.4 "Privacy Policy" refers to the document which sets out how UniWave will use all information and data supplied by the User and the Organiser;

2.6 "Terms" means these General Terms and Conditions, the Organiser Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and any other documents referred to in any of the forgoing documents;
2.7 "User" means any person, individual or business that uses the Website and the Services;
2.8 "UniWave" means UniWave Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with a company number of 10582997 and whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ;
2.9 "Intellectual Property Rights" means ;
2.10 "Partner Up" means an Organiser using the Service's and Website to promote their Events;
2.11 "Ticket" means tickets on Other platform's which could be electronic, paper or any other form of ticket issued by that platform in order for the User to gain access to an Event;
2.12 "Reward" means a redeemable reward created by the Organiser, using the Website in order to incentivise the User to share their Event on social media. The User shares the event and receives the redeemable reward in return. The reward is determined by the Organiser;
2.13 "Person" ;
2.14 "Co-promotional Fee" means the fee charged by UniWave and payable, for every Ticket UniWave produces a sale for. The Co-promotional Fee is set as percentage of the Price of a Ticket and will be made known to the Organiser who wishes to promote their Event on the Website;
2.15 "Fatsoma" means a Ticket platform where the User is sent to purchase Tickets and where the Organiser can list their Tickets from. The URL for this Ticket platform is https://www.fatsoma.com;
2.16 "Eventbrite" means a Ticket platform where the User is sent to purchase Tickets and where the Organiser can list their Tickets from. The URL for this Ticket platform is https://www.eventbrite,co.uk;
2.17 "Service" means the promotion, marketing, entertainment, social media applications and information provided by UniWave by means of the Website;
2.18 "Other platforms" means Ticket platforms that the Organiser is able to list their Event from and sell their Tickets from;
2.19 "General User" means a User that uses the Website, visits the Website and uses the Services in accordance to the General Terms & Conditions;
2.20 "Personalise" means the User filtering Events on the Website so that the User can only prioritise and view the Events that they want to see;
2.21 "UI" means the user interface that the User interacts with.
2.22 "Skiddle" means a Ticket platform where the User is sent to purchase Tickets and where the Organiser can list their Tickets from. The URL for this Ticket platform is https://www.skiddle,co.uk;
3.1 The website, www.myuniwave.co.uk is owned and operated by UniWave Limited, trading as UniWave, a company registered in England and Wales and whose registered address is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ and company number is 10582997.
3.2 The website provides services to the general user for them to view and remain up-to-date with their preferred events in and around universities in United Kingdom. It also transfers the user to other platforms to purchase tickets.
4.1 The User agrees to be bound by the Terms, by using and visiting the Website, along with using this Service.
4.2 Without notice to the User, UniWave reserves the right to amend the terms at any time and in any manner it deems fit. Any changes to the Terms will be updated and posted on the Website. Registered Users will be notified about any such changes via the email provided by the User.
4.3 Amendments to the Terms will take immediate effect once the updated and modified Terms are posted on the Website. All Users who continue to visit or use the Website or use the Services will be deemed to have notice of the changes.
4.4 The User must stop visiting or using the Website or using the services if the User refuses to accept the amended terms. The user will be deemed to have unconditionally accepted the amended Terms if the user continues to visit the Website, use the Website or use the Services.
4.5 UniWave reserves the right to, at its absolute discretion, refuse Service to any User at any time for any reason including, but not limited to, any breach of the Terms. UniWave reserves the right to terminate a User's access to the Website or use of any Services, delete any profiles and/or take any appropriate legal and/or technical action against that User.
5.1 The user must not visit this Website, use this Website or use the Services for any other purpose except for those stated in the Terms.
5.2 This Website is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Any information or content given to the User by UniWave is done by way of a non-exclusive license to be used for no other purpose but personal use only.

5.4 The User must not visit this Website, use this Website or use the Services for any other purpose except for those stated in the Terms. The User shall not use any content on the Website for any purpose other than for the purposes of reviewing Events and any information relating to events, where applicable, to Personalise the website to review the User's preffered Events and of reviewing Organiser profiles and for being transferred to Other platforms to purchase Tickets for personal use, unless otherwise specifically authorised by UniWave to do so.
5.5 The Website is intended for use by persons who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom. All Users agree to abide by the laws of England and Wales including but not limited to laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content, in using the Website and in using the Services.
5.6 Any User that is not a resident in the United Kingdom must comply with clause 4.5 as well as the laws of the country where they are resident in.
5.7 The User must not use the Website for any illegal, unlawful or otherwise unauthorised purpose including but not limited to encouraging others to engage in illegal or unlawful activities.
5.8 Without notice to the User, UniWave reserves the right to remove any information or content from the Website which it deems to violate these Terms. Such information or content includes but is not limited to any information or content which it deems and determines it to be fraudulent, defamatory, libellous, obscene, threating, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable, or infringes or violates another person's intellectual property or other proprietary rights.

6.1 UniWave is not a ticketing agency. UniWave does not sell tickets and/or is not in any way involved in the sale of Tickets or refund of tickets.
6.2 The User is transferred to other platforms who are trusted by UniWave to purchase Tickets for Events listed on UniWave. The other platforms that UniWave will transfer the User to includes but is not limited to, Fatsoma, Skiddle and Eventbrite.
6.3 Any new other platforms will be updated and posted on the Website. All registered Users will be notified of this change via the email provided by the User. All updates to new other platforms being added or Other platforms being removed will take immediate effect after clause 6.2 has been posted.
6.4 Once the User has been transferred to Other platforms to purchase Tickets, the User agrees to bound to any of the Other platform's Terms. At the point of the User being transferred to the Other platform, UniWave has no say or involvement in the Terms which govern the Other platform. The Terms outlined on this Website are for the use of this Website and its Services only.
6.5 If the User reports any Event listing for any reason which violate the General Terms or Organiser Terms, UniWave will investigate the report and will remove any Event listing that it deems or determines to have violated the Terms. UniWave reserve the right to remove any Event listing, at sole discretion and at any time and in any manner it deems fit.
7.1 UniWave is a Event Listing and promotional Website and does not produce or organise the Events on this Website.
7.2 UniWave does not set prices for the Tickets available for each Event and charges a co-promotion fee for each Ticket it sells for each Event which is included in the overall price paid by the User.
7.3 UniWave does not accept any other liability for any Ticket purchases made via Other platforms, including but not limited to Fatsoma, Skiddle and Eventbrite.
7.4 Organisers may outline other terms and conditions which may be applicable to their Event and Users should check these terms and conditions before committing to a purchase, in particular for terms such as age requirements, alcohol polices, dresscode and student identification.
8.1 UniWave shall not be liable for any losses where an event is cancelled by the Organiser or any other third party.
9.1 The Terms represent the agreement between UniWave and the User and is binding on both parties and on their respective successors and assigns.
9.2 UniWave may at any time, without the consent of the User, assign or transfer the whole or any part of its rights under the Terms to any person.
9.3 The User may not assign any of its rights or transfer any of its obligations under the Terms or enter into any transaction which would result in any of these rights or obligations passing to another person without obtaining the prior written consent of UniWave.
10.1 The User acknowledges that all Intellectual Property Rights subsisting in the Website are owned by UniWave or Organisers or third parties and is used by UniWave under license or via the permission to do so.
10.2 This includes but is not limited to:

These buttons make it clear where the User is being taken to. Fatsoma and Eventbrite links are provided for the User to purchase Tickets. Twitter and Facebook links are provided to transfer the User to Organisers Facebook and Twitter profiles.
11.2 Any links provided and included on the Website does not imply endorsement or approval by UniWave of the linked site, its operator or its content. The links in the UI are deemed as trustworthy by UniWave but UniWave is not responbile for the content of any website outside the Website. UniWave will not be liable or responsible for any activity outside of the Website.
12.1 UniWave will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of, any of its obligations under the Terms that is caused by events outside its reasonable control. (Force Majeure Event)

13.1 No delay or omission on the part of UniWave in exercising any right or remedy under the Terms shall impair that right or remedy or operate as or be taken to be a waiver of it, nor shall any single partial or defective exercise by UniWave of any such right or remedy preclude any other or further exercise under the Terms of that or any other right or remedy.
13.2 Without prejudice to clause 13.1 above, a waiver by UniWave of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default.
13.3 No waiver by UniWave of any of the Terms shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is communicated to the Organiser in writing.
14.1 Each of the provisions of the Terms is severable. If any of the provisions of the Terms are determined by any competent authority to be illegal, invalid, unlawful or unenforceable in any respect under the law of England and Wales, such provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining provisions and the legality, validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of the remaining provisions of this Agreement as appropriate, shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
15.1 These Terms represent the entire agreement between UniWave and the User in relation to the subject matter of any contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between UniWave and the User, whether oral or in writing.
15.2 In entering into a contract, both UniWave and the User each acknowledge that neither party has relied on any representation, undertaking or promise given by the other or be implled from anything said or written in negotiations between them prior to such contract except as expressly stated in the Terms.
15.3 UniWvae intends to rely upto these Terms in relation to the subject matter at any contract. While UniWave accepts responsbility for statements and representations made by its duly authorised agents, it is the User's responsiblity to ask for any variations from the Terms to be confirmed in writing.
16.1 UniWave disclaims that the Website will remain uninterrupted, error-free, secure, virus free, free from any other harmful components. Furthermore, UniWave disclaims that all errors and/or defects will be corrected.
16.2 UniWave disclaims that it will meet the Users' requirements.
16.3 UniWave disclaims that any results the User obtains from using the Website or using the Service or visiting the Website will be accurate, correct or otherwise reliable.
16.4 UniWave disclaims all warranties whether express or implied and shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Website.
16.5 UniWave disclaims all iiability for acts of omissions of any third party related to their use of the Website including all Organisers, Fatsoma, Skiddle, Eventbrite or other third party referenced on the Website.
16.6 The User may report misconduct of other Users including Organisers or the User may report misconduct of Other platforms. UniWave may at its sole discretion investigate any such complaint but shall not be obliged to do so.
16.7 The Website will contain links to other external websites, UniWave however, does not give any undertaking that products or services purchased from those websites linked to the Website will be of satisfactory quality and any such warranties are disclaimed absolutely. This does not affect the User's statutory rights against any such websites.
17.1 These terms shall be governed by English law and UniWave and the User agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of any disputes or claims which may arise in relation to the Terms.

All updates to new other platforms being added or Other platforms being removed will take immediate effect after clause 6.2 has been posted.
6.4 Once the User has been transferred to Other platforms to purchase Tickets, the User agrees to bound to any of the Other platform's Terms. At the point of the User being transferred to the Other platform, UniWave has no say or involvement in the Terms which govern the Other platform. The Terms outlined on this Website are for the use of this Website and its Services only.
6.5 If the User reports any Event listing for any reason which violate the General Terms or Organiser Terms, UniWave will investigate the report and will remove any Event listing that it deems or determines to have violated the Terms. UniWave reserve the right to remove any Event listing, at sole discretion and at any time and in any manner it deems fit.
6.6 Organisers are given tools to list events from Other platforms that UniWave deems trustworthy and fit for UniWave. Organisers are bound to the Terms of these Other platforms if they choose to create an Event on those platforms and list their Event on UniWave.
6.7 Organisers are given tools to monitor performance and tools to promote their Event. These tools are to be used only to promote a real Event that will take place in the future from the date of any use of the tools.
6.8 Organiser may list free Events on UniWave but are not allowed to provide links to purchase Tickets if they create a free Event using the UniWave option.
6.9 In order to take advtange of clause 6.6, clause 6.7 and clause 6.8, the Organiser must be:
6.10 At least 18 years of age as at the date of registeration or where the Organiser is a body corporae, partnership or trust, the Organiser must be properly incorporated and/or constited and capable of entering legalling binding contracts.
6.11 The Organiser must also complete the registration process on the Website in addition to clause 6.9.
6.12 The organiser shall be responsible for providing accurate, true and complete registration information. The Organiser shall also be responsible for ensuring that this information remains true, accurate and complete at all times. The Organiser is also responsibe for their password.
6.13 In the event that any regisration breaches the Terms, UniWave reserves the right to refuse the registration.
6.14 Organisers wishing to take advantage of the services provided to Organisers by the Website, agree to and accepts that:
6.14.1 UniWave is acting as a tool and platform for Organisers to promote and market their Events.
6.14.2 UniWave is not involved in any sale of Ticket between the User and the Organiser apart from taking a co-promotion fee.
6.14.3 UniWave reserves the right to either accept or reject the Event listing.
6.14.4 In addition to clause 6.14.3, UniWave, in its absolute discretion may remove, delay or reject any Event listing which:
6.14.4.1 contains insufficient information needed to process the Event list;
6.14.4.2 contains information which cannot be verified by UniWave or is being used to perpetuate a fraud or any other unlawful activity;
6.14.5 An Event Listing by an Organiser will be deemed as accepted when UniWave sends the Organiser an email confirming acceptance or when the Events status on the Dashboard changes to 'Live'.
6.15 The organiser shall also be responsible for:
6.15.1 Ensuring all details about the Event are correct both at the time when the Event listing is submitted to UniWave and goes Live on UniWave.
6.15.2 Using the Website in order to maximise promotion and Ticket sales. UniWave will not be responsible for any losses suffered as a result of the Organiser's failure to use the Website correctly. UniWave offer full technical support as required by the Organiser during normal working hours.
6.15.3 Determining whether an Event has been cancelled and any resceduled dates have been set.
7.1 UniWave charges a co-promotion fee of 10% of the face value of each Ticket that .
7.2 In consideration of the services provided by UniWave to the Organiser, the latter authorises UniWave to charge the Co-promotion fee and promises to pay those Co-promotion fees incurred from time to time.

11.1 Each of the provisions of the Terms is severable. If any of the provisions of the Terms are determined by any competent authority to be illegal, invalid, unlawful or unenforceable in any respect under the law of England and Wales, such provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining provisions and the legality, validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of the remaining provisions of this Agreement as appropriate, shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
12.1 These Terms represent the entire agreement between UniWave and the User in relation to the subject matter of any contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between UniWave and the User, whether oral or in writing.
12.2 In entering into a contract, both UniWave and the User each acknowledge that neither party has relied on any representation, undertaking or promise given by the other or be implled from anything said or written in negotiations between them prior to such contract except as expressly stated in the Terms.
12.3 UniWvae intends to rely upto these Terms in relation to the subject matter at any contract. While UniWave accepts responsbility for statements and representations made by its duly authorised agents, it is the User's responsiblity to ask for any variations from the Terms to be confirmed in writing.
13.1 UniWave disclaims that the Website will remain uninterrupted, error-free, secure, virus free, free from any other harmful components. Furthermore, UniWave disclaims that all errors and/or defects will be corrected.
13.2 UniWave disclaims that it will meet the Users' requirements.
13.3 UniWave disclaims that any results the User obtains from using the Website or using the Service or visiting the Website will be accurate, correct or otherwise reliable.
13.4 UniWave disclaims all warranties whether express or implied and shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Website.
13.5 UniWave disclaims all iiability for acts of omissions of any third party related to their use of the Website including all Organisers, Fatsoma, Eventbrite, Skiddle or other third party referenced on the Website.
13.6 The User may report misconduct of other Users including Organisers or the User may report misconduct of Other platforms. UniWave may at its sole discretion investigate any such complaint but shall not be obliged to do so.
13.7 The Website will contain links to other external websites, UniWave however, does not give any undertaking that products or services purchased from those websites linked to the Website will be of satisfactory quality and any such warranties are disclaimed absolutely. This does not affect the User's statutory rights against any such websites.
14.1 These terms shall be governed by English law and UniWave and the User agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of any disputes or claims which may arise in relation to the Terms.

We may share your event preference data to Organisers so that they can have an insight into their customers and organiser better events.
